This is very refreshing and a mature take. Especially in this low sex drive culture gen z is in, that in my opinion has been sucked up by the fact that everyone is living in constant survival mode to even feel desire anymore, or risk opening up. However for myself It's been so difficult to open up sexually as a male because all I've ever seen is sexuality of any kind be demonized. From learning about AIDS in childhood, to church, to STDs in high school, to ppl's opinions on the male gender's sexual expression discussed like a virus spreading, in fear of being said virus. Anywho, nice read
This reminds me of the use of "Desire" on some Tik toks and youtube shorts as a call for wanting again.Suppressed desires,apathy and escapism. Kenichi Ohmae conceptualized as a "low desire society" in Japan's context ,sadly applicable beyond.
